Generally, dandruff can refer to any condition that causes a dry and flaky scalp. There are different kinds of dandruff based on skin type and causes. Malassezia is a common fungus responsible for dandruff, and the acid content can decrease itching, flaking and calms down the reaction of Malassezia. Apple cider vinegar (ACV) made by fermenting apples is antifungal, disinfectant, and rich in acids, minerals, and live cultures. Since it is not a scientifically proven remedy, the dandruff healing claim of ACV might have churned out from this!
Pour the mix of 1/2 cup ACV with 1 1/2 cups of cool water on your scalp and hair after shampooing. Recommended using two times per week.
Regular use can dry out the scalp, also stop using if it causes any stinging redness or itching.
